Happy Monthsary!

Today is our first monthsary as husband & wife. What can I say? It’s the most wonderful experience!

I know I have yet to post our wedding stories but let me first thank these people who have played big roles on our wedding:

To our suppliers, we can’t thank you enough for the wonderful services that you all did even before the wedding day… and most especially on the day itself.

To Heritage Hotel and my AE Criselle Reyes, thank you for the warm accommodation & excellent customer servicing.

To Alan Borras, thank you for capturing every moment… especially those we didn’t catch ourselves. We were in Cloud9 that day and looking at the photos surely reminded us of all the fun & excitement & love that filled the day.

To Bong, CJ & Jon of Thre3logy, you guys have always been one of our favorite suppliers. Thank you for bearing with us & giving in to our crazy demands for the AVP. Did you see how amazed the guests were while viewing it? We can’t wait for the wedding videos!

To Veluz Reyes, you’re heaven-sent! My wedding gown is the loveliest piece of clothing I’ll ever own in my entire life. If I can get married over & over again… I’d still wear the same gown (and still have the same groom, heheh!). The day we met is such a lucky day! You’ve exceeded our expectations & we know you made extra efforts to make sure my gown turns out as perfect as we envisioned… and it surely did!

To Nico, thank you for the comfortable shoes & beautiful bag! Thank you for dropping by my suite the day before the wedding & setting-up my gown and accessories! I’ll never forget how bubbly you are everytime I’d see you during my gown fittings. Your creations are so lovely — keep up the good work.

To Clarice & her team, thank you for being my bestfriends — during the preps & OTD at least! You guys have definitely made our lives easier. I wish I booked you earlier, but I’m glad we were still able to work together even for 19 days…

To all my Principal Sponsors & Entourage, you were there for a reason. We chose you for the gifts — the gift of lifetime friendship, the gift of wisdom & the gift of love. Thank you for celebrating this day with us.

To Vince, thank you for the Photo AVP. I know you worked hard to squeeze it to your tight sched — in between sleeping, eating and spoiling the soon-to-be mother of your first bundle of joy, hehehe! — but we loved it. You said not to expect anything fancy, but you surely did a great job! Fancy enough for me.

To Kuya Bong and Mareng Shai, I wasn’t able to thank you during my speech that night, my apologies. You guys were terrific. Kuya Bong, my ever reliable hosting partner, it was a refreshing sight to see you with my good friend on stage. Shai, as usual, noone can take away the Miss Glamor in you!

To Tita Malou, thank you for adding color to our special day. The flowers surely perked up our photos!

To Haidee, thank you for making me & my mom look beautiful that day, together with the rest of my relatives & entourage!

To my college friends, officemates and cousin Cathleya & Mama, thank you for organizing such fun-filled bridal showers! Thank you for taking your time off from your busy schedules to do this for me.

To my best supplier of all, my Mom — though she won’t be able to read this since the Internet thing is something she’s not familiar with — I still want to thank her. She is by far the best coordinator I’ve met! Like I said in my speech, I know I’d always count on her for future events. Her sense of style I can never surpass! And her bargaining techniques, I can never match. All these things she did without asking for anything in return, only my love —- and so, she’ll forever be the Queen Of My Heart!

To the best wedding singer on Earth, my Tatay, thank you for singing our song on our First Dance. It was a tearful moment for everyone, especially for me. You have touched my heart and you forever will… Your unconditional love & support has helped us a lot to make this event a truly successful one…

To my brothers Tito & Tom, thank you very much for loving me & taking care of me throughout the years. Kuya, I hope you have found your future wife… get HITCHED soon!

To all my relatives who came all the way from LA (Ninang Jenny, RJ, Lauren and Mary), spending time with you guys have been wonderful gifts already. We miss you all… Thank you for coming home.

To all my friends who came all the way from Australia (Nonna, Edward, Angelo & Angela), your participation meant so much to us. Thank you very much. It wouldn’t be a complete celebration without you guys!

To the Sapitula Family, thank you for welcoming me into your family.

And to my husband, what joy to finally call you as such! You’re God’s gift to me & I vow to make all the days of our married life as happy, God-centered and loving as I can. Thank you for all your efforts to give me a comfortable life. I know as early as now that you are indeed a good provider. You know I love you and I always will… not only for the rest of your life, but for the rest of mine…
